I posted pictures from Deanne's wedding a few months back but this picture didn't make the post. As I was going through my pictures I found this and had to post it. I love the simplicity of the cake and the freshness of the flowers. The flowers on this cake include mini white calla lilies, green hypericum, green cymbidium orchids and white freesia. 
I remember the very first cake I put flowers on. I was sweating bullets!! Some of the family members stood around and watched me so I had to pretend like it was no big deal and act like I had done it many times before. I watched the expressions on everyone's faces as I placed one flower at a time. I had no idea what they were thinking until the cake was finally done and they all looked happy and satisfied. It took me putting flowers on many cakes before I was finally comfortable with it. Now it's one of the many things I look forward to when arranging flowers for weddings.
