Mary's Beautiful Day

A gorgeous wedding for a gorgeous bride! Mary has impeccable taste! She came to me knowing exactly what she wanted and everything about her day turned out beautiful. After Mary tied the knot with her hubby in the Salt Lake Temple they moved to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for a wedding luncheon. The reception took place that same evening at The Memorial House in Memory Grove. She chose one of the best photographers around... Zuma Photo. I have to thank Zuma once again for fabulous photos!! Enjoy!

The Bridal Showcase is fast approaching and I have been asked again by Granite Bakery and Bridal to add beautiful fresh flowers to their wedding cakes. I sat at my computer for hours (which resulted in a major headache!) coming up with different ideas and color schemes. The inspiration board below is the result (one of them anyway :)). I LOVE these colors together and can't wait to see how it all turns out! If you're planning on attending the show this year stop by the booth and say hello.

Lara's Fall Wedding

When I first met Lara I knew she was a really cool bride. I've been very fortunate in working with great brides. Lara is another one of those brides I get to add to my list of favs!
Lara chose Millcreek Inn up Millcreek Canyon. Her wedding colors were a variety of fall colors. Lara loves texture and you'll see that in the flowers we've designed.
Zuma photo (www.zumaphoto.com) was kind enough to give me these beautiful photos. I've been so lucky to work with them on a few weddings recently and this being one of them.

Thanksgiving Day Flowers!

This year I've decided to create some arrangements for Thanksgiving. I always design a floral arrangement for my family's table and thought it would be fun to sell them to anyone who might be interested. Every table at Thanksgiving needs a centerpiece, right?!

There are 3 arrangements to choose from which will all be done in cute wooden boxes.

(see picture)

The small arrangement: $35

This design comes in a 6" box with moss and Circus roses. These roses are mostly an orange rose with hints of yellows and reds.

The medium arrangement: $45

This design comes in an 8" box with moss, Circus roses, red hypericum and red sunflowers.

The large arrangement: $60

This design comes in a 10" box with moss, Circus roses, red hypericum, red sunflowers and artichokes.

All pick ups and deliveries will be done November 24th which is the day before Thanksgiving. There is an additional charge on deliveries. I'll also be accepting orders from the Logan area.

To place and order e-mail me at kellidunkley@yahoo.com or call me at 801-712-9984.

Sabrina's Wedding

I knew from the first time I met with Sabrina that she would be a fun bride to work with. She's obviously beautiful but she also has a great style and personality. Sabrina and her Mother were very organized and didn't miss a single detail.
In the bride's bouquet we used mini callas, orange gerbera daisies, monkey tail, hypericum, milva roses and coffee break roses.
Sabrina's wedding and reception were held at The Memorial House in Memory Grove.

Deanne's Wedding Cake

I posted pictures from Deanne's wedding a few months back but this picture didn't make the post. As I was going through my pictures I found this and had to post it. I love the simplicity of the cake and the freshness of the flowers. The flowers on this cake include mini white calla lilies, green hypericum, green cymbidium orchids and white freesia. I remember the very first cake I put flowers on. I was sweating bullets!! Some of the family members stood around and watched me so I had to pretend like it was no big deal and act like I had done it many times before. I watched the expressions on everyone's faces as I placed one flower at a time. I had no idea what they were thinking until the cake was finally done and they all looked happy and satisfied. It took me putting flowers on many cakes before I was finally comfortable with it. Now it's one of the many things I look forward to when arranging flowers for weddings.

A few highlights from Mary's Reception

Mary's wedding reception was at The Memorial House in Memory Grove. It was a beautiful setting for the vintage theme she chose. The cake was made by Granite Bakery and Bridal and turned out to be one of my favorite cakes to date. It was beautiful before the flowers were added but breathtaking after. The wreath was one of my favorite pieces of the night. It was made out of white poms and it's hard to see but we hung the bride and groom's initials from the top.
