Sabrina's Wedding

I knew from the first time I met with Sabrina that she would be a fun bride to work with. She's obviously beautiful but she also has a great style and personality. Sabrina and her Mother were very organized and didn't miss a single detail.
In the bride's bouquet we used mini callas, orange gerbera daisies, monkey tail, hypericum, milva roses and coffee break roses.
Sabrina's wedding and reception were held at The Memorial House in Memory Grove.

Deanne's Wedding Cake

I posted pictures from Deanne's wedding a few months back but this picture didn't make the post. As I was going through my pictures I found this and had to post it. I love the simplicity of the cake and the freshness of the flowers. The flowers on this cake include mini white calla lilies, green hypericum, green cymbidium orchids and white freesia. I remember the very first cake I put flowers on. I was sweating bullets!! Some of the family members stood around and watched me so I had to pretend like it was no big deal and act like I had done it many times before. I watched the expressions on everyone's faces as I placed one flower at a time. I had no idea what they were thinking until the cake was finally done and they all looked happy and satisfied. It took me putting flowers on many cakes before I was finally comfortable with it. Now it's one of the many things I look forward to when arranging flowers for weddings.

A few highlights from Mary's Reception

Mary's wedding reception was at The Memorial House in Memory Grove. It was a beautiful setting for the vintage theme she chose. The cake was made by Granite Bakery and Bridal and turned out to be one of my favorite cakes to date. It was beautiful before the flowers were added but breathtaking after. The wreath was one of my favorite pieces of the night. It was made out of white poms and it's hard to see but we hung the bride and groom's initials from the top.
