The Bridal Showcase at The Salt Palace

Once again I've teamed up with Granite Bakery and Bridal for the 2011 Bridal Showcase at The Salt Palace. Granite Bridal had some amazing cakes at the show this year and as you scroll down you'll be able to see just what I'm talking about. I was able to do some beautiful fresh flowers on some of the cakes with accenting bouquets and centerpieces. Ryan Thompson with RLT Photography photographed the cakes and flowers and did a fabulous job. Thanks Ryan!

Erin's New Year's Day Wedding

As I was driving to Log Haven on the COLD New Year's Day I noticed Fox 13 News was right behind me. When I arrived I learned that they were doing a segment on Erin's New Year's Day wedding. It was so much fun to later watch it on Fox 13. The bride looked beautiful and so did everything else! I tried to find the clip on Fox 13 but haven't had any luck, once I find it I'll be sure to post it... stay tuned! I thought I would post a few pictures from her wedding. Mary's Beautiful Day

A gorgeous wedding for a gorgeous bride! Mary has impeccable taste! She came to me knowing exactly what she wanted and everything about her day turned out beautiful. After Mary tied the knot with her hubby in the Salt Lake Temple they moved to the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for a wedding luncheon. The reception took place that same evening at The Memorial House in Memory Grove. She chose one of the best photographers around... Zuma Photo. I have to thank Zuma once again for fabulous photos!! The Bridal Showcase is fast approaching and I have been asked again by Granite Bakery and Bridal to add beautiful fresh flowers to their wedding cakes. I sat at my computer for hours (which resulted in a major headache!) coming up with different ideas and color schemes. The inspiration board below is the result (one of them anyway :)). I LOVE these colors together and can't wait to see how it all turns out! If you're planning on attending the show this year stop by the booth and say hello.

Lara's Fall Wedding

When I first met Lara I knew she was a really cool bride. I've been very fortunate in working with great brides. Lara is another one of those brides I get to add to my list of favs!

Lara chose Millcreek Inn up Millcreek Canyon. Her wedding colors were a variety of fall colors. Lara loves texture and you'll see that in the flowers we've designed.
