Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!! We wanted to thank all of our lovely clients of 2012 for making it such a wonderful year! Blooms and Blossoms is so lucky to have the opportunity to work with awesome clients and vendors and look forward to another year of doing the things we love for the people we love!

 

I took several months off the last part of 2012 to welcome this sweet little boy into our lives. We love him so much!

After all the time off we are now back into the swing of things and are scheduling appointments and booking weddings for 2013. Please contact us to schedule your appointment!

The lovely union of Kimi and Mike!

I couldn't be happier for this beautiful couple! Kimi is a long-time friend of mine so it was an honor spending this day with her and also getting the opportunity to design her wedding flowers! Kimi has watched me design flowers for several weddings so I was excited to find out what she would actually choose for her own wedding. She went classic with soft, delicate blooms and I love that!

I need to give credit to the lovely Brittany Cascio with Cascio Photography for the beautiful images from Mike and Kimi's wedding day!

 The details of Kimi's dress were AMAZING! And she of course looked AMAZING in it! I only wish you could see the scallops at the bottom of her dress.

 I loved all of the personal touches the bride added to her wedding dinner. It made everyone there feel so special and so loved!

 Kimi's bouquet was hand-crafted with some of her favorite flowers including: peonies, roses, lisianthus and ranunculus.

A little bit of baby news!

Obviously this isn't the usual wedding post but the pictures posted are from one of my favorite wedding photographers, Cascio Photography! She was my wedding photographer and I've been lucky enough to work with her on several other weddings. I had Brittany take some pictures of my baby bump a few weeks back and thought it would be fun to share them.

And to give you a little bit of an update... I am 33 weeks along. Only 7 weeks left and for some reason that seems like an eternity. I am so excited to meet this little guy!!

If you're a bride and you're interested in wedding flowers I will be doing consultations through August. I will be taking September and most of October off (if all goes well) but will be back in the swing of things come November.
